white spots on ds's foot any ideas

If they're like little blisters it's Athlete's foot - especially between toes. You can get cream from the chemist (think it's called Daktarin). Make sure you use it for about 10 days or it'll come back. It's a form of candida - a bit like thrush

no they are on the ball of his foot and don't look like athletes foot. thought they were verrucas to begin with.but thought that they went in not out iynwim

Could be a corn or still a verrucca(they can protrude a bit iirc)

Hand, foot and mouth?

I second the hand foot and mouth suggestion. Completely sepearte from the animals disease, and nothing to worry about at all, just a mild childhood disease which is contageous. Children tend to be a little off colour perhaps temperature etc whilst they have it - normally only lasts a few days. If you notice he has spots on the palm of his hands or in his mouth i'd say its certainly h f & m

Maybe take him to the chemist tomorrow - they'll know for sure

just had another look(yuck he is 14)
think they are verucas.
he had the foot and mouth thing years back in nursery. don't think it's that.
