I fell off my horse a month ago, straight onto my head (forehead
took the brunt, as was wearing headcam) and felt fairly ok immediately after. Then had three days of headache so went to doctor who diagnosed concussion. He said give it 7-10 days and I will be back to normal.

I feel a bit better than i did then but still find myself feeling a bit dazed and unable to focus or concentrate. Its a bit like the feeling you get when you get off a long flight and end up in a bright arrivals hall ,I feel a bit disorientated and dazzled by stuff, I find myself blinking to try get a clear head. I also find my alcohol tolerance is not very good, even a glass leaves me feeling worse for wear.

Should i go back to the doctors? If i do is there anything thet can do anyway? Just getting a bit frustrated that I dont feel 100% present in a situation, i feel like im not there.

I believe concussion can take ages to get over, and people tend to underestimate how much they should rest in the recuperation period, but I would say it's worth going back to the GP for a checkup if you are concerned.
