Day 21 progesterone test results are too high......???!!!

I went for a day 21 last Tuesday (31st and it would have been day 30/31 of my cycle) and i phoned up for my results today and the receptionist said the Dr had requested i make an appt as the results were 'too high'.
I have to phone back later in the week as there are no available appts and i really want to know what it means.
I am waiting for these results back before i can be referred so i dont want to hang around!
Also, my AF is a few days late and im wondering if this has anything to do with it.
Could i maybe have ovulated late this month, would that explain why progesterone levels are high and AF is late?
Thanks for any advice

ACtually there are a few that might be helpful
here is another one
and if you search for '21' in the subject line within 'conception' topics you'll find some others.

Thankyou Katierocket
I think that because i dont know the levels, i cant even begin to guess how high it is or what it means.
Do you think the receptionist will beable to give me the levels?

I have called the surgery back and asked for the levels - the receptionist can not give them out over the phone (who else would be asking for progesterone levels???!!!)
However, she is going to ask the dr if she will phone me back. I cant help but panic and worry what this means.
