Heart flutters - first time

Just looking for some advice, just to state I do feel fine, no pain, no other symptoms but since 4 this afternoon my heart has been doing little flutters, never had anything like it before. My heart rate is not racing & the flutters are about every 10minutes.
I am 15 weeks pregnant.

I am thinking if it carries on to book OOH GP tomorrow & if ok see GP Monday.

But just wanted to see if anyone else had this, if anything else I should be looking for? Worried about?

I am not stressed & have just been chilling on sofa today.
Thanks for any replies.

Bumping for the morning crowd?

The flutters are still coming very few minutes to up to 5 minutes.

Do you think A&E or wait for GP tomorrow?

They are called ectopic beats. Its an entirely benign condition. Have a Google for more info. Everyone has them. Some people notice them some people don't. Most people have circa 1000 a day. I had a 24 hour ecg and had 15000 in one day. Dr was suprised I had so many but still not concerned. Hth.

I have this from time to time anyway but seem to remember noticing it a lot more around 16 weeks pregnant, particularly after eating or drinking. vaguely remember reading that the amount of blood circulating really increases around that time and could explain it. I never did anything about it and it went away. Sometimes it would feel almost like a tickle in my chest. But if you're worried talk to your gp.

oh and I also noticed it far more when I was just sitting on the sofa relaxing.

Thanks for replying, went to ooh as they increased to coming every two minutes & never had it before, also had an extra a worry of losing a family member to SAD so just went.

Already home after amazing care was sent round to majors who did an ECG & picked up the extra beat, they could hear it when listening to my chest too. They did a few extra things then second ECG in case missed anything then explained it was what has been posted on here. Ectopic beat - reassured me all was normal & if pain or breathless to come back.

Glad I have been, as know what it is.

Thanks again for links & reassurance, now trying to ignore this funny beat every other minute.

glad you're reassured! The hardest thing now is trying not to think about it.
