Breast pain - mastitis? Not pg or BF

I've got a lumpy, painful area on one breast, slightly red. Began yesterday and hasn't improved. Ibuprofen doesn't help much.

I had mastitis a lot in pregnancy and while BF, but haven't BF for nearly two years now. Is it likely?

Googling tells me it's fairly common to get mastitis outside of pregnancy or breastfeeding. Seems to be getting worse - hope I don't need to go to OOH over the weekend.

keep an eye on it and go to the Dr on Monday but if you start to feel poorly then it will be OOH for you.

Thanks. I'm a bit tired and drained, but that might just be Friday-ness. Not feverish or anything.

I was plagued with mastitis and thrush during my breastfeeding years - don't really need it again!
