hi. Had a bit of a challenging year. Lost my mum in January, then a migraine from hell (which probably wasn't), fell knocking myself unconscious and 2 days later developing double vision. Lots of hospital visits (they put it all down to stress) and I was eventually diagnosed with saggital venous sinus thrombosis- clots in the brain. Now on warfarin and acetazolamide, a couple of lumbar punctures to relieve spinal pressure and the headaches are relentless. Neuros yesterday put me on topiramate.
I'm feeling very isolated and strange. Has anyone on MN had anything similar?
