Have been using one for nearly 10 years, always had size A as only started using after ds1 was born. Never had any trouble. Since ds2 was born 3.5 years ago, I've had such a lot of troub le though. Have completely trimmed stem but it still feels like it's rubbing and seems to slip down. I'm thinking my pelvic floor muscles have been rubbished so have been looking at a MeLuna as they have different sizes. I ma thinking Large, Classic, Basic as I have no trouble removing mine without a stem. Is that gonna help do you think? Any advice gratefully received!

I have a Meluna medium classic with a ring stem as I'd never used one before. If you go to FeminineWear you can order a size finder to help you get your best fit. You may be able to find one on the Meluna site as well.

The size you need depends on the position of your cervix. If you have a high cervix you need a long cup and if you have a low cervix you need a short cup. Apparently it can change after giving birth so that might be why your Mooncup doesn't fit any more?

Maybe a dim question, but how do you know if your cervix is high or low?? Confused

Not a dumb question! Google how to find your cervix. Basically you have to insert your finger and it depending how far.

*depends

Your cervix will move around through your cycle so. .........

I'm buggered if i know how to tell which brands will fit better. i had a mooncup though and didn't get on particularly well with it but i adore my meluna soft.

Yeah you have to measure it when you're on your period.

So it turns out, I think, that it's low. Not sure it's low enough to require the MeLuna short version though. How would I know?!

There might be info on the sizes and dimensions on the MeLuna website - if not you could contact them to ask for advice? But I think it could be worth trying the shorty. Good luck!

How about a MeLuna Shorty Large Classic? Maybe get it with a stem just in case, you could always trim it off later if you don't need it.

Thanks all so much for the advice. Am going for a Shorty Large Soft and hoping it will work!
