Breast changes?

Hi over the last few months I have felt like something is not quite right about my right breast. The nipple looks different, one side of the areola looks slightly swollen so the actual nipple looks slanted and I have been getting a strange sensation almost like the 'let down' feeling you get when breast feeding. I mentioned it to the dr a while ago and he said it will probably be hormonal and nothing to worry about.
In the last few days the sensation has become more obvious and there are a few marks a little bit like stretch marks appearing on one side of my breast and my breast feels very heavy if that makes sense? I am going to make another appointment with the dr but the nice lady dr only works on a Friday and non urgent appointment are usually booked 3 weeks in advance, do I need to make an urgent appointment or can it wait? I do suffer from anxiety and find it hard to judge what is urgent and what can wait.
Thanks

Thanks make an urgent appointment, dont make yourself more anxious for 3 weeks waiting.

I would book an urgent appointment.

ALL breast changes should be investigated.

There is a reason why there is a 14 day referral to breast clinic and its ridiculously daft and makes no sense at all that a woman needs to wait 3 weeks to see her GP for breast changes when she only has to wait 2 weeks to see a breast specialist.

Call now and book an emergency appointment. You are within your rights to and I do not consider this an abuse of emrgency appointments at all.

Good luck - I suffer with breast sensations/lumps etc and have been referred several times to breast clinic. It is nerve wracking but good to get checked out so quickly. Fingers crossed it is all ok for you.

Thank you. I will keep trying the dr (constantly engaged!) and make an appointment for ASAP. Doesn't help that FIL has just been diagnosed with lung cancer and emotions are running high.

I suffer alot with breast issues and get myself so worked up with it all. I totally understand.

Most change turn out to be nothing too serious - hormonal etc. But we need to get checked.

Keep trying. Its Monday - loads of people are probably calling after the weekend x

I have something similar I went to the gp on Thursday who checked and couldn't find anything wrong. I've got an appointment at the breast clinic this Friday ive been previously for lumps (I'm lumpy apparently) and it was all ok do I'm hoping it will be fine.

Good luck getting an appointment and I hope all is well for you.

mondays and fridays possibly worst days for an appointment I always think and tend to go other days, if possible.
