Hello, Im a regular who's name changed for this.

A few weeks ago I felt a bit bumpy on one side of my Labia, I was also a wee bit irritated and put things down to new panty liner I was using.

Today I realised I was quite uncomfortable when going for a wee and that things just didnt feel right so I looked in the mirror and what I saw more than schocked me. I have a patch of white skin just under the entrance to my vagina and a quick google would suggest the above.

I have an appt with my gynacologist in 10 days but Im wondering if anyone has experience of this situation.

Im also feeling very upset because I know if I have this condition it can only be my husband who passed on the HPV to me.

Could it be lichen scoliosis? Either way, save judgement and panic until you have been to the gyny.

Don't panic just yet - could be a number of things.

I think hpv can lay dormant for years by the way Thanks

Id see a Dr before diagnosing yourself via Google , tbh

Thank you :)

Ive been told to go to see my gynaecologist tomorrow as a walk in patient and I'll be seen between patients. I had a red hot kind of pain in my left side a few days ago whilst I was away from home then a few hours later I noticed a bit of a discharge. It was very dirty blood, old blood, but a few smudges have been fresh. It seems to be waring off now and was never more than smudges when I went to the loo but it has to be checked out in case its a post menopausal bleed one year after periods stopped. But thats the thing, Im not sure my periods have because I have a mirena for fibroids, but I have had menopausal symptoms and I was 57 a few weeks ago.

Im now even more scared even though my SIL, he's a Dr, thinks its highly unlikely I have VIN and its more likely to be LS.
