thyroid nodule - Any ideas?

I developed a lump in my throat over easter and when i felt my neck i discovered a lump at the base of my neck. The dr said it was a nodule on my thyroid and referred me to Ent. The Dr there said it was multi nodular and did the camera down my nose, im sure he said that my thyroid was enlarged aswell.I am now waiting for an appointment for a scan and biopsy but have been told i wont find out for a month and havent yet had a date for the scan.Has anyone any experience of this? i am worried because although i have felt that my neck was swollen before i didnt notice any swelling like i have now?Thanks

You could contact the British thyroid foundation for more information; there are numbers of volunteers you can call. Try not to worry - hard I know! They need to assess it to know what to do next.
