I haven't been to the GP yet as, to be honest, I thought it may just pass and it can be treated at home?!
Anyhow. 3 days ago, around 9pm, my throat started hurting on one side. It came on very suddenly, making me feel quite nauseous. I decided to go to bed at 9.15 pm which is unlike me!
Next day, it had intensified and I had body aches around my lower back, pelvis and my neck was extremely sore. It hurt to turn my head to check for traffic whilst driving.
Last night, I had a temp of 38.2. Unsure of this is relevant?
Today, the aches aren't too bad but I feel lethargic and my glands are up in my neck. My throat is extremely sore and it hurts to swallow saliva, but I have no white dots. Just swollen tonsils.
No cold symptoms whatsoever. I do have allergies but they don't usually affect me like this!
My ear are starting to hurt a little bit.
Before all of this, I'd only had a sore throat maybe once in almost 30 years!
Is it worth going to docs?
