I am not due my period until 5th May but I feel very sick for the past week, is it possible to have morning sickness before my due date. There is a possiblity that I could be pregnant.

oh yeah and it can on way beyond 12weeks too, i know!!!

Lisa78 · 28/04/2004 13:58

I got morning sickness about 20 minutes after conception (or maybe that was a reaction to sex with my DH )
My friend gets queasy for a few days before her period every month though, so it might be something similar - she is odd though!!!!!!!

Yes it is! I started morning sickness within days of 'doing it', and by the time I did the test my body had already told me that I was pregnant.

gloworm · 28/04/2004 14:48

same as pretty candles, felt sick within a week
...knew I was pregnant even though pregnancy test was coming up negative (it doesnt usually show positive until about 6 weeks)

I feel sick now and I am not due for two weeks and could also be PG - I have suffered with this at this time for the last few months and my doctor said that I am probably very subseptable to my hormone change which is making me feel dodgy, but I have heard of other people getting morning sickness immediately after conception. Fingers crossed for you !

Jimjams · 28/04/2004 14:48

I always feel sick before my period (since having ds2). Hormones!

Lisa78 · 28/04/2004 14:51

Do you want to be pg Cyndii?

gold123 · 28/04/2004 14:52

Jimjams - it looks as if I will be the same as you, if passed months are anything to go by I should start feeling faint any day now - Here's hoping its morning sickness though

gloworm · 28/04/2004 14:53

have you got any kids?
if so did you feel like this last time?

gloworm · 28/04/2004 14:55

sorry, that was Q for Cyndii.

i'm a bit new to all this!

lazyeye · 28/04/2004 14:55

I used to feel very sick before my periods and when I was ttc it was very annoying. I think I posted on here once about it and some others said they also felt sick before periods.

When I did actually get pg didn't start feeling really sick until week 5/6

To answer Lisa 78, don't mind if I am, that sounds a very loose answer but I'm only after having the coil removed so that we can start for another baby (answers gloworms Q), have a little boy who will be 3 in August. But I don't want to fall pregnant until we return from our holiday in Spain, which will be the 23rd May, just in case the flight causes any complications???? But I was in London recently & I was speaking with a friend of mine who is a Family Planning Nurse and she told me that I could conceive if I had sex a few days prior to the coil being removed, which I did. I'd love to be pregnant but my fear is that I might damage the baby from flying, as I am from Ireland and flew to London and now again next week to Spain.

Just have to wait & see. I had no morning sickness on my previous pregnancy just tiredness, but today I feel great but before today really felt unwell for 5-6days. If I took a pregnancy test would it tell me now, even though I'm not due my period until 5thish of May??? Feeling a little excited but worried at the same time!!
