Reassure me please

I know an Internet forum is no substitute for medical advice, but being that all surgeries are now closed til Tuesday anyway...

On Thursday night I found a small lump, a little bigger than a pea, in my armpit. I also have some tenderness in my breast and arm on that side which has been there for a while but it didn't really register until I found the lump.

Armpit lumps are just cysts right?

Probably but you still need to see a doc on Tuesday. Could be a sore lymph node but if arm is sore you need it all check out. You can't mess about with lumps. Try not to worry. Easier said than done though I know.

It is MOST LIKELY nothing to worry about, just an infection in a lymph node. If it gets any more painful, is there a walk-in centre or OOH GP you can see? Saying that, none of us on here can tell through a PC screen, so please do get it checked

Thanks, will phone the doctor on Tuesday, not too painful, more achy. Just annoying that you only ever notice these kind of things when you can't see a dr, like when your DC develop a temp of 40+ on a Friday night!
