Has anyone any experience of this? I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid roughly 6 weeks ago. On 50mcg of Levothyroxine, but no improvement in symptoms as yet.
I have had a goitre for approx. 7 years, but it has gotten noticeably larger over the past 2 years. I had an ultrasound scan last Thursday, results of which have yet to come through to my GP

This week I have had some serious dizziness, where I felt drunk, with swimming vision and heart palpitations and last night I noticed the goitre has grown a fair amount, so much so, that it is pressing on my throat and I can only feel liquids pass down one side (if that makes sense).
I booked an appt with GP this morning, but he didn't show up!! I called 111, who told me to go to A&E urgently, but I think they are thinking more along the lines of a heart issue, as their questions don't cover goitre's!!
Anyway, has anyone else experienced anything similar? I am slightly worried but would really appreciate some reassurance. TIA
