Anybody had this? Stiff neck etc

Hi all,
Past few days have had a really really stiff back of neck , more at base of skull, coupled with very fuzzy head, headache and generally feeling exhausted.also feel flushed quite often
I get sinusitis quite a lot and my head feels like it has similar symptoms.
Cannot get a doc app till thurs at earliest.
The neck pain is not being caused with how I'm sleeping I don't think as ive altered my pillows, and it does not die off in day, if anything the pain an stiffness gets worse.ibroprofen only dulls all these symptoms for few hrs
Help anyone?

Could you try an osteopath. I often feel tired, dizzy and get a bad headache when the base of my neck gets tight. The tightness is often caused by stress, sometimes from sleeping in a bad position.

I had to go to docs this morn as could barely move/swallow etc-
She said my neck in spasm , and I have a virus.
She's given me diazepam an co codamol for the immense pain i was in and to take ibroprofen for any swelling..... I'm rattling!
On a side note she's suggested doing a blood test once I'm better to rule out anaemia, thyroid etc

Sorry to hear that yu are feeling so unwell. I would still recommend an osteopath if you can manage as spasm are definitely someone that they can help with. Hope you feel better soon and that the meds help.
