Norethisterone

Has anyone taken this and experienced almost immediate weight gain (6lb in a week!)? Also have loads of spots and awful moods (poor DH!). Did these side effects go when you stopped taking it? Am just concerned that the weight gain will be really hard to shift as I battle with my weight anyway.

I recently had a Mirena fitted and was taking a long time to stop my extremely heavy periods so doc prescribed the Norethisterone for a month. Not enjoying the side effects though

I took this for a while and felt so bloated - probably gained lots of weight but I didn't weigh myself whilst I was taking it. As soon as I came off it though i felt much better :) good luck

I think it's just water weight gain though, not fat. Hope you're okay :)
