Laparoscopy for vaginal wall cyst?

I had a follow up appointment today with my gynaecologist following the MRI scan I had last month. They discovered I had a cyst (between 4.5-5cm) high up on my anterior vaginal wall, quite deep within it apparently, which probably explains why it wasn't picked up before my MRI scan. I've now been put on the NHS waiting list for a laparoscopy to look into it further, I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with something like this? What's the recovery like? What's the op like?

Recovery is fairly quick, the main issue is shoulder pain from the gas they use, but a heat pack helps with that.
