Just read this today:

BBC news

The suggested cost effective price is £3-£7 and the current listed price is £75. I knew there were price negotiations going on but that seems like a huge difference to be negotiating!

I'm wondering about this vaccine. It says "affects children under one" but does that necessarily mean children older wont get it? I mean if the risk is still there for my 3 year old I would be willing to pay whatever! One thing that really worried me when he was a baby was Meningitis.

They're initially introducing it for younger ones Lonz but there probably will be a catch up program at some stage. The incidence of Men B is fairly low and the rate is higher in babies so that's probably why they're starting there.
