I went for a eye test yesterday and the Optician said that while my eyes looked fine, I do have a few little fat bumps /globules under my eyelids. (lovely) Optician said it was very common and advised me to put a warm compress/flannel over my eyes and massage them so the bumps will disburse/lubricate my eyes. She said maybe I was run down? Yes I am knackered!
I do also wear contact lenses most days and find my eyes do get dry but I had a contact lens before the eye test and the contact lady did not say anything about seeing fat bumps
Anyone else had experience of this?
(I though fat bumps round the eye were deposit of fats/ something to do with cholesterol. I don't have any round my eye just under the eye lid)
