I was having a rummage as you do and found a small hard lump on the opening of my cervix. I felt it a few months ago and it's still here now. Am I self diagnosing Overian cancer or is it something else? How do I mention this to GP?Confused

Well you are not going to get Ovarian Cancer on your Cervix. You can't feel your Ovaries through your Vagina anyway. It is probably a cyst or a polyp.
Have you had any abnormal bleeding? Any pain that is unusual? Also if you are young it is unlikely to be Cancer.
The only way to be sure is to visit your GP and ask them to take a look.
Don't be shy as they have seen it all before.
Xx best of luck as I am sure that you will be OK

As PP said- your ovaries are not on your cervix.
Unless you have a feel often, how do you know that this lump has not always been there? I am sure cervixes come in all kinds of shapes and sizes and you can't be sure that you are feeling anything abnormal or just the normal lumps and bumps in the vagina. If you are worried go to your GP and tell them but unless you have symptoms and are up to date with your smears it's probably nothing at all.

Oh dear, extremely blonde moment!! I meant cervical cancer Confused
No, I know the lump is fairly new. Booked a drs appt anyway, see if they do a new smear to check it out. Hoping it's just a left over fromDD or something

TBH if you had cervical cancer that was advanced to a 'lump' stage you would have other symptoms usually such as bleeding after sex or bleeding all the time.
I don't think cancer of the cervix shows with a lump-the cancer shows as redness and inflammation on the cervix and in the early stages nothing is visible anyway- hence the smear to check the cells for changes.
