Hello - i had my gallbladder out following an infection last Spring and have had ongoing aches in that area. I also have an ovarian cyst that is being monitored.
I had a kidney infection - took antibiotics - about 6 weeks ago, and have had really bad pain beneath my ribs on the right side since then (and on and off upset stomach). Have been back to Docs a few times and have been told that the infection has cleared up and that i probably have adhesions from the surgery and possibly IBS. I have a scan booked to review the cyst in about a month and it will look at the upper area too.
I am really worried that it is something else and that it is going to get worse instead of getting better. Has anyone had anything similar? Can adhesions cause so much pain? Could the kidney infection still be there, without showing up in a urine sample? One son has had an upset tummy last week, so could still be a bug? Any advice would be great! Thanks! I am so fed up off feeling ill!
