Don't have PCOS but have recently had a course of electrolysis for stub bun chin hairs. It's fantastic.mif you go to a decent salon they will recommend the best removal method for your skin type.

You do not have to live with this.

Sorry not a sufferer myself but I do have naturally dark hair which was becoming visible around my cheeks and jaw line so I started getting it threaded last year. I can easily go a couple of months without needing it redoing and a lot cheaper than electrical treatments. Of course that's only a short term solution though

I know someone with PCOS who gets her face threaded and it seems to work for her

You don't state in your OP whether or not you're overweight but I know that facial hair growth associated with PCOS significantly reduces with weight loss in overweight sufferers. I can't tell you if it disappears completely, I just know that it'll reduce with weight loss.
Easier said than done when you consider that PCOS by nature makes you put weight on and makes it harder to lose.
Best of luck to you.

Just a word of warning about threading, it does make the hair grow back in thicker if you do it regularly. Or at least it has with me, and I am currently sporting a rather fetching blonde moustache because I am too lazy and scared to have it done again.

It is a good solution but you have to keep it up.

I need to research electrolysis, but not sure if it works for blonde hair and light skin.
