Mirena IUD & Loss of libido help!

Hiya
I've recently had a Mirena IUD fitted and have completly lost all desire to have sex. Also had a few slightly mad mood swings.
Anyone else experienced similar?
Should I have it out or persevere?!

I was pushed to have a Mirena. I decided to try the progesten-only pill instead first.

Thankfully!

Cuz I had NO sex drive at all and found progesten does NOT agree w/me at all.

You are not alone, there is a massive thread on this in health. I had mine last year and will bw getting it out soon, I have the libido of a wet sausage. MY Dh will be having the snip and I shall rip this piece of plastic out. Cannot wait.

have it out but watch out for other forms of contraception with similar hormones if they have started to affect you
