Best tablets for ridiculous headache...

I can't ever remember if it's paracetamol or ibuprofen that's best for a headache? I only got told recently that ibuprofen isn't the greatest thing to take for tummy ache type pain as it can irritate the stomach.
I normally swear a rest and a glass of water cure most headaches but this one is not shifting Sad

Prob paracetamol, inbruprofen is better for muscle aches and pains I think.

The absolute glorious Co codamol.
Has saved my sanity at times when I have been plagued by bad headaches.

For bad headaches I'd take both at the same time as they do different jobs that are present during a headache.

I'd try to avoid co cocodamol unless it was a specific short term need,I know far too many people who grow to rely on it

Oops, co cocodamol sounds like a strangely chocolatey pain killer hybrid. Co codamol.

I have a rare form of headaches and have some pretty hefty drugs for them but I often find for a 'normal' headache that paracetamol followed by ibuprofen if still not gone does the trick. I forget sometimes that blasting everything with strong painkillers isn't always the best way.
