My DD who is 17 got it.
I was scared (and I don't get scarred easily!) earlier today.
She came downstairs after taking an over the counter Flu medicine over one hour earlier shivering and pale as white paper.
I started putting flannel soaked in cold water on her neck and face.
Then her feet in a bowl with cool water.
I rang my SIL who is a GP and she advised for her to take Ibuprofen.
After another 45 min of cold flannel and lots of water to drink she is finally feeling slightly better.
There is cough as well and sore throat.

So remember - paracetamol first and if temperature doesn't go down follow up with some ibuprofen.

My SIL said this week she had 2 patents with identical symptoms, she prescribed one of them Tamiflu.
