TMI!
I have PCOS and only have a period 1-3 times per year. It's normally quite long (around 8 days) and fairly heavy.
Early February, I started what I thought was about to be a period but it was so light - I didn't even need to use a tampon or pad apart from for one day, just some blood when I wiped, but it was every time I wiped after using the loo and lasted for about 2-3 weeks.
It's slowed down more now and it's not every time I go but I'm still noticing blood when I wipe sometimes to varying degrees.
I'm starting to worry now as it's been going on for so long. I do have PCOS and I at first dismissed it as down to that but I went for a smear late last year and I had a borderline irregular result. I was tested for HPV and it was clear and they said no further action was needed but starting to panic a bit. Tried googling it but all I seem to get is TTC articles with no real information (Husband and I are kind of TTC but I've done a pregnancy test and not pregnant). I have no other ill feelings to report, it's literally just the bits of blood.
Can anyone offer any words of advice or similar experiences or just some reassuring words? I'm going to make an appointment to see my GP on Monday but that seems very far away right now!
