I have no idea where to start looking for this! :)
(I tried googling but didn't find much). I have been reading a lot about the importance of having a healthy gut flora, and how it can even help mental health.
So, I have started taking probiotics, changing my diet, eating more veggies, etc, but I'd like to know if I'm doing the right things. I have no money at the moment to pay for some private specialist, and considering the general cluelesness of GPs and NHS people every time I ask about that, I don't think they could help. I have a few symptoms of IBS, but not many and I doubt I could get a referral for anything on the NHS.
Any tip or info is welcome!
