unusual type of blood test

Have you ever had a blood test where the needle isnt attached to a syringe but is ona long tube and the syringe on the end of that nstead? What culd it be for. Was just told blood etsts were to say why I am bleeding a d in pain in this pregnancy?

they already took some though staright into syringes then did this one why not do them all the same

yes cos they forgot one, they did three tubes from one arm then came back, although the person who came to do the last oen didnt realise I'd already had some done

They used what's called a butterfly needle, a very small needel, easy to manipulate and the easist way to get blood from small veins.

I usually get the needle/tube when I get blood tests

Did they tell you when you'll get the results?

its just a butterfly. they use them for dh veins in harefield as his veins are awful.
