Please help!
I'm 34 and have recently started getting huge red and angry spot/boil things . They're mainly on my neck, upper back and bum. They dont seem to be at a particular point in my cycle (I'm 3dpo approx and got a new one yesterday and got a few a week or so again). They're so sore and unsightly and take about 3 weeks to go away. What are they and how do I treat them?

Hate to say, but it's probably adult acne.

I have the mirena coil and get these on my back when it's about ready to be changed, so mine are definitely hormone related. I use a bodywash containing silver which seems to help. I get the odd few on my face from time to time.

It might be worth speaking to your GP about this. I remember getting lots when I was on the contraceptive injection as well, but these were on my neck and face more than anywhere else.

Your GP might be able to give you antibiotics to sort, or a bodywash. You can try tea tree oil products, or silver products, but if these are new you really should see your GP.
