Can I take rennie tablets with a multi vitamin tablets?

Been taking a multi vitamin but taken a few Rennie tablets as had heartburn today. Just suddenly worried if there is any problem taking both. Any pharmacists?

there is no problem taking them together but antacids (like rennies/gaviscon) inhibit the absorption of iron so prob best taking the vitamins in the morning or at a time when your not getting heartburn if you want full absorption of iron.

Agree with Threeboys. I have to take calcium tablets and iron daily so ensure that they are taken separately (I have decided to take the iron just before I go to bed when my stomach is relatively empty and this also avoids mixing with dairy products.
