I've just had (have??) a similar virus - achy, coldy, but worst thing was cough and not feeling like I could breathe properly. I'm 33 weeks pregnant, so that probably doesn't help - bit anaemic, full of baby, etc. My gp gave me an inhaler (not normally an asthma sufferer) and it really helped - lessened the cough, especially.

Three weeks on, its not 100% gone but its a lot better - and with hindsight, was definitely a virus. It worried me, too.

HTH - feel better soon.

I have it at the moment. Started 2.5 weeks ago. Stomach problems have just about cleared up as have the aches but the cough is now deep and chesty and I still have a runny nose.

Seems to be lasting forever.

You have my sympathy.
