Exhaustion experienced as nausea?

Bear with me, this might take a while to explain...

When I was pregnant, I had all day sickness/nausea for the first 17 weeks. It returned again towards the end of the pregnancy (altho not as bad). The only thing that held it at bay was eating LOTS. I have quite a high metabolism anyway so maybe my body was just trying to get enough nutrients (?!).

Since then, I have had the occasional bout of nausea. Always in the evening, gone by morning. No obvious food intolerances.

Now I'm recovering from proper flu, and I feel so nauseous. This is the 4th day. I've been sick a few times. The anti sickness meds from the doctors are barely making an impact. If I'm not nauseous, I'm absolutely exhausted.

Could it be that the nausea is how my body now reacts to exhaustion? Or am I just joining dots for the sake of it?

My body has definitely changed how it responds to dehydration since pregnancy/breastfeeding. I never once moisturised my hands pre-DC, now I can't go the day without moisturising 2 or 3 times.

Any thoughts very much appreciated!
