Just back from my eye follow up at the hospital. The doctor was very vague about my general sight as that's not what the appointment was for. He did tell me that one of my eyes was +0.25 & the other +1.50.
Anyone know what this means? I think I have pretty good vision, have a lazy eye from childhood which the numbers show but other than that I am completely baffled.

just means that one eye is slightly more long sighted than the other (the higher the number the more long sighted the eye is). It is not a very high prescription - were you prescribed glasses?

Hi thanks for replying. I had a problem with my good eye a few weeks ago which has resolved itself now.
But he kept asking if I got headaches due to the good eye working to hard. I don't though. He said it's my choice whether I get glasses or not.

I was wondering. Is that prescription worthy of glasses? Anyone with similar use glasses.

As it is a + it means that you are longsighted.

Do you struggle to read close up?

It's pretty mild.
