foxinsocks · 21/10/2006 20:24

this is how they generally start chez fox unfortunately

ilovecaboose · 21/10/2006 20:24

oh dear - sounds like the one dp had on his birthday. Just suddenly had need to vomit after feeling fine and then was grotty for about 24 hours. After that felt fine again.

Hope your lo recovers as quickly

slaughterfalls · 21/10/2006 20:32

She does'nt have a temp, I am thinking perhaps she ate something that did'nt agree with her.

Are you sure it's not food poisoning? I think sickness from bad rice can come on very suddenly...

northerner · 21/10/2006 20:33

I was going to say food poisoning, that comes on very quick.

slaughterfalls · 21/10/2006 20:37

Well all she has had today is, cereal for brekkie, toast for lunch, and just veg and potatoe for tea, as we had gammon, too salty for dts so they had a meatless tea.

However I did find her in the fridge earlier eating my whole nut, but she has had peanut butter many times, so dont think its likely to be a nut allergy.

Oh hell, she did'nt sleep long, I have changed her bed three times, plus she has been sick over loads of other blankets and sheets while trying to sleep on the sofa, and her bedroom rug, she is asleep again now on the sofa, still no temp.

Last week i was perfectly fine tuesday morning when i woke up. had lunch at 12 and felt fine. had a half hour nap woke up, threw up, felt very ill. Threw up again half hour later and felt like shit. Threw up again another hour later and had bad neck ache heavy head and achy body. Went to bed felt ill next day but not sick any more. day after was fit as a fiddle again. I was surprised how quick it came on must have been a bug or something

I hope its not but it sounds like one we had DS had it first, it lasts a few hours really violently then goes just as fast BUT very contagious we all caught it (hopefully never to be repeated)

slaughterfalls · 21/10/2006 23:07

Deffo a bug then.

Mumpbump · 25/10/2006 19:37

There is something doing the rounds. We have all had it, the neighbour's children have had it and some of my colleagues at work have had it... Horrid, but at least it's over quite quickly...

worcestercaroline · 25/10/2006 21:08

I had it a week ago lasted over night but felt ill for a few days. My mum has now got it. Something def doing the rounds and its not nice

ginmummy · 25/10/2006 21:11

slaughterfalls - ds and I have both had it and it's not nice! All you can do is ride it out and give lots of hugs and cuddles.

Poor you and poor dts! Hope they get better soon!

wrinklytum · 25/10/2006 21:13

Ds has got this and has been ill for a couple of days.DD has nightmare teething probs so it was musical beds last night, ended up with us all in our bed after I ran otu of sheets for ds to be sick over!!! You have my sympathies!

slaughterfalls · 25/10/2006 21:34

wrinklytum

O know what you mean, dt2 wont be without dt1, I left her in the bedroom on her own and in 10 minutes she made herself sick, so dts slept on one sofa last night and me on the other. It looks like the sickness is over and have been washing solid all day, last load is in now.
