dh has stomach ulcer and now sicknes bug,is it ok?

hes in lots of pain,up alnight being sick.if it was just the bug i wouldnt worry but hes got stomach ulcer too.what to do?

Has gaviscon or his usual med. helped ?
I had the same prob. 3 nights running and was diagnosed with duodenal ulcer on Wed.
Was put on some fab. medication and tested for the hep. thingy that causes ulcers in 90% of cases.
Dr. said to keep an eye out for blood in vomit or dark blood in stools, none of which i had.
I find as awful as the pain is eating a bit of dry bread or something helps.
Even it is is a bug it will probably spark up his ulcer again anyway so plenty of gaviscon and something in his stomach will help.
I do hope he feels better soon.
