Dodgy liver results

I have a complex medical history, this time last year I was in ICU in a coma.
It started with kidney stones which went on to sepsis and multiple organ failure. I was very lucky to survive,I had a few operations to remove stones and unblock kidney and a nephrostomy bag and a trachiostomy I had two further sepsis which was promptly managed and survived that too.
I know that it can take a while for organs to recover from trauma.
I've had many UTIs since then.
So Had a blood test last week and was summons by the GP, I expected either low iron or kidney problems but he said my liver results are not good.
He asked if I'd been an IV drug user, I haven't,he asked if I had had anal sex, I haven't.
I now need a scan of my liver and more blood tests.
I was a bit to shocked to think what I should ask, though he did advise not using Dr Google.
So could it be due to the organ shut down
All the drugs I've been on
Alcohol intake from way back

I've got poor liver results from they think (medicinal) drug use and am having an MRI today to follow up the ultrasound I had a couple of weeks ago.

I've done the googling and there seems to be a lot of info about what can cause it and the different types and stages of damage but nothing much about treatment other than 'if it is cirrhosis then liver transplant may be an option'. I've stopped googling now and will just wait to see what the medics say!

Thank you Gobbin, sorry you have a dodgy liver, did they tell you anything after the scan or just sent you for an MRI?
I hope it goes as well as possible and they have a range of treatments that help.
