Freckle gone weird

Not sure if i should be worried or not. This was a freckle and its been like this for a few weeks now. Is it worth a trip to the doctors or is it nothing

Its halfway up my lower arm. Its about 1cm too

What size is it? We need a scale object in the pic. It needs checking out anyway. It looks more like a tic bite or similar, than a freckle- could you have been bitten on the freckley bit? Is it the inside of you arm? If so it looks pretty large. I would see your GP tomorrow tbh. Any changes to freckles or moles need checking asap. DH had a freckle change on his ear recently, it got darker and larger. The skin clinic thought it looked ok but that it should come off anyway just in case. They removed it and it wasn't anything harmful as it happens, but any moley thing changing needs checking and addressing.

I need to do something tomorrow but will make an appointment on tuesday to get it checked out. Ive had about 6 or 7 moles removed in the past and they were all ok.

My large birthmark/mole changed like that when I started on the Pill - it sort of got darker and more pimply. Apparently hormonal changes can affect their coloration.
