Tooth Enamel and celiac

There are other concerns besides just missing enamel or weak enamel on your children's teeth. Celiac disease comes in many forms, with diseases and symptoms that don't seem to have anything to do with the digestive tract. One of these are missing or malformed enamel on teeth. Celiac is a disease that can destroy the lining of your bowels if you eat gluten. My son was diagnosed with celiac disease. My brother's children's teeth didn't have any enamel. After reading, I discovered that my mom, had signs of celiac that were never diagnosed. Long term undiagnosed celiac disease can lead to intestinal cancer. I am calling my doctor to get a blood test to see if I have it.
