son has two large boil/spots on leg

and one on his arse!

he just showed me and they are awful, really wide and red and hard lump with a tiny yellowish head. any ideas what this could be or what to do before he can see a dr. the area surrounding the head is hard and red, it's so large not sure what to suggest to him. he has put some magnesium sulphate on it just now.

The pharmacist may be able to help if you have an Chemist nearby with Sunday opening hours?

If you put out a message in Chat with Klaxon in the title, and photos, you will get loads of ladies who love that sort of thing offering advice. Mag Sulphate seems to be a favoured possibility, along with applying heat.

they're weird though, not really spots just hard lumps, i will try the pharmacy tomorrow that's a good idea, i was wondering about the walk-in centre for him, they are huge and hard.

he didn't want to see pharmacist but is going to Dr tomorrow. one has gone down though. they're so odd like some sort of bite
