I took the MAP about two hours ago, and I feel terrible . I feel sick, and exhausted, and foggy - I've got a really sore headache and I feel really tearful and pathetic

Is it meant to do this?

I took it when my pill was packed in a suitcase which didn't arrive at the same time as I did (it got sent to wrong airport)so had to take it as a precausion but I felt OK. Maybe you should phone and ask your doctor or hospital, did they give you a phone number ?

I've read the leaflet that came in the box and it does say these are the side effects. I feel really crap.

Its been a while since I took this pill but I remember feeling realy s*t with it. Realy sick and dizzy. I was at college at the time and remember being realy sick in the coridoor trying to get to the loo! If your sick you should go to the place you got it from as you may need a follow on pill as you may have brought the original one up. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

i took this years ago-when i was about 18 and i thought i was going to die. i was staggering about, vomiting, -really really ill. and then the following month when my period was due i collapsed and was terribly ill again.
i don't how much it's changed but it used to be awful.

I took it years ago. Felt very very sick as if I was really drunk, and threw up quite a few times.

Sorry you're feeling rotten, but it won't last long; about a day maximum: hope you feel better soon..

Yep. Awful. Doctor told me to put the plug in the basin before I threw up and have a look to see if the pill was still in it.

Oh god. Sorry, that's going to make you feel really ill. If you can just get to bed with a bowl beside you and try to sleep through it. You'll feel better tomorrow.

the newer map is less likely to make you ill, but 1 in 20 women will get nausea or vomiting ans it sounds like you may be one of them. You should feel better in a few hours, but contact your GP if you are concerned at all.
