I've asked a few friends about this but they've just laughed..my dd (age 9)farts a lot, she never used to, but in the last few months she's always doing it. sometimes she says she feels like ones coming but it wont come out! She poos normally & seems ok, she eats well, doesnt drink fizzy drinks..should i worry about this or not? What does it mean if she's full of wind? Should i be worried? Is it a symptom of something else? She's not ill so i can't ask the doctor about it. Anyone have any answers?

I don't know but I do it a lot too

Lilibet, is it something you've always had? With my dd's its just in last few months, so i wonder if it's something happening inside her (that shouldn't be!) .

Could she be constipated? Even if she does goes everyday, she might not be emptying her bowels completely. The only other thing I can think of is maybe a food allergy.

this might help

maybe it's fruit juice or swallowing air

Thanks for this. I looked at the link on bowels etc too. she doesn't drink fruit juice, doesn't seem to have any of the signs of being constipated..... so it can't be anything i should worry about I think. She's just a farty bum
Thank you!!
