Anyone any ideas?
I came off the implant a few months ago. While I was on it, I mostly didn't get periods, though a cycle did erratically reassert itself, towards the end of the implant lifespan.
Since the implant has been out I've had normal periods and been on a solid to-the-day predictable cycle for about six months.
I'm now four days late, with no obvious menstrual symptoms (tried to convince myself I had some dull heaviness but I may have been imagining it). I'm definitely not pregnant, have had no recent changes in diet or exercise level, am not underweight or extremely overweight (my BMI is just above 25 though I've been struggling a bit with weight gain and hunger the last couple of weeks), am not experiencing unusual levels of stress, and have fairly recently had my thyroid function tested along with a big chunk of other stuff which I presumed would've been flagged up if anything was wrong. I'm not breastfeeding, I shouldn't be reaching menopause, and am generally in reasonable health. I take an antidepressant, and metformin for type 2 diabetes.
Should I consider seeing the doctor if it doesn't turn up, or should I wait and see if I get a period next month?
