Has anyone had one of these?

I've had a gamma scan looking for infection which works in the same way I think.

It took most of the day. In the morning they took a sample of blood, mixed it with the radioactive marker and reinjected it. This process took about an hour (was able to go off for a bit in between). They then scanned me in the gamma scanner after 1, 2 and 4 hours, so there was a lot of hanging around the hospital shops and magazine reading. There were points at which I was allowed to eat/drink and others where I couldn't. None of it hurt (apart from the slight needle sting as usual).
