Fainting with bad stomach?!

So on a few occasions I have experienced stabbing pains ,cold sweats then a very dodgy tummy which has actually made me faint. It has caused a couple of very embarassing finds does anyone else ever get this? My legs go very tingly/numb also!

Very nearly but not actually fainting. It's horrible. I'd really like to know why, as well! I thought it might be a vasovagal response but I can't find enough information as I don't really know what to look for. My Google searches aren't precise enough.
