Tingling face

Hello, my face has started to tingle by my lips & left cheek.

Couple of options.

I have been passed my levels of stress as my dd2 is self harming & I've known for 2 months & have cried (in private) every day since & the challenges continue.

Or

I had an injury a couple of years again around my thoracic spine & it has been made worse by my tension & I have hurt my hips buttocks & have been massaging them & squashing the vertebrae causing a tingling there.

I can't seem to lower my stress as for the last 3 weeks my hips, buttocks, thighs have been hurting.

So fed up with the tingling face & it's only been 4 days ??

I had this 10 yrs ago when I suffered devastating personal losses. I had an MRI and all was clear. It was put down to 'Migraine aura'. It would not literally be present all day and night but would come on each day. Recently, I have had it again and it came on every day for 2 weeks and then went away and then again for 3 weeks or so. Same pattern, present for an hour or up to 7 hours each day.

The GP this time said that it is typical with taking shallow breaths and hyperventilating - not that I was aware that I was doing this! It is more common on the left side too, as I understand it. It can also be a symptom of hyperthyroid and I was checked for that.

Really you need to get checked out by your GP though, especially as you need support for your personal issues.
