Hi just looking for some thoughts about this...

My elderly mum has been in hospital for 5 months.

She kept getting UTI's, which should have cleared up, she has been on various iv strong antibiotics for months.

Anyway she has not seen a gynae in all that time until this week when they found a vaginal pessary still in place YEARS after it was inserted for a prolapse. Shock

BTW I didn't know it was there, my old Irish ma would never talk of such things.

Could this have been the problem all along??

Thoughts appreciated Smile

Well I suppose it could have been.

I can believe it's not melted Confused by now.

I also can't believe it has been missed by the doctors for so long!

Your poor mum
