Eye drops

I've been given drops for my 10 month. Is there an easy way to give them.

At the moment the instructions may as well read "wrestle with baby four times a day"

Lay the child on the floor, have them close their eyes, then put the drops in the corner of the closed eye (nearest the nose). When child opens eyes drops will flow into eye. Have done this many times, so long as the eyes are closed it will work.

I don't know any 10 month old who would do that Grin I'm afraid wrestling is the only way to go!

Yep. Sit astride (not actually on them, don't want to squash the poor bugger!), with hands pinned to sides and hold eye open with one hand whilst squirting eye drops with the other.

Chocolate buttons on hand always help the process I find

I had to start putting drops in one of my childrens eyes from when they were about 10mths old. It was a nurse that gave me the advice, it sounds crazy but it absolutely does work.
