Bulluous Pemphigoid anyone?

Hello, after months and months of misery and mystery I have just been diagnosed with Bulluous Pemphigoid!

I would love to have somebody to chat to, this is such a rare disease and there doesn't seem to be that much information out there.

To top it all off, I don't fit the general patient profile, as I am "only" just 40.

I don't have any experience, but sympathy as my dad has pemphigus vulgaris and it was miserable until he was diagnosed and got treatment from the uber specialist

After bring fobbed off many, many times with "it's eczema, put some e45 on it" I had to have a complete breakdown in front of my GP to finally be referred to a dermatologist... I am happy with my diagnosis and treatment now, it would just be nice to share the misery with somebody.

Sympathy back to your dad, Dibbler, BP isn't fun, but much better than PV!
