Anyone had a full body scan/health check privately

Apparently they can detect very early stages of cancers etc, anyone had one, how long did it take, what was the cost, and what companyies do them.

I can only find one company, but you have to have a dr referral if under 40.

I know for a couple of hundred pounds BUPA do all kinds of services like this.

I know some people who have had the full body scan - had it done at a place in Essex
Not sure of the cost but must have been a few thousand

the only downside is that these scans can subject your body to unhealthy levels of radiation far stronger than a regular x-ray -

I have to say that I would think very carefully before having this done.
