I have not been to the dentist in 10 years and am going on Monday. I am scared and paranoid. I have just quit drinking soft drinks after a two litre a day habit.

My teeth do not hurt normally but since making the appointment they have ached constantly. I think I could be confusing tooth ache with withdrawal symptoms. I have looked at my teeth and swear I see decay everywhere.

I do brush my teeth regularly, for 2 min minimum, twice a day with fluoride toothpaste but have never flossed.

I am also scared of the cost as I have lost my insurance card and will have to pay upfront.

I need to vent in anonimity.

Come and join us, you'll be in good company and we can support each other.

Good luck for Monday!
